Mrs. Ella Harris, 35, of 1686 Church street, who died in a local hospital on
Sunday, was given final rites on Wednesday at the Graves Funeral Home.

The Rev. S. A. Wilson officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Daughter of
Julia Towns and the late James Towns, Mrs. Harris was a lifelong Norfolk resident.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Harris is survived by five sons, Steward,
Ronnie, Robert, Allen and Maurice Harris; four daughters, Celestine, Juliette,
Debora, and Denise Harris; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Breedlove of Philadelphia and
Mrs. Pearl Lawrence of Baltimore; and three brothers, Matthew and Edward Towns
of Norfolk and James Towns of New York City.
