Eva M. Harris of the 900 block of Waltham St. died Jan. 8, 2002. Born in 
Garland, N.C., Mrs. Harris was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church and was 
the widow of Robert M. Harris. 
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Robbins of New York City and Gwendolyn 
R. Harris of Norfolk; two sons, Robert C. Harris of Norfolk and Reese R. Harris 
of Arizona; three sisters, Mary S. Green of Raleigh, N.C., Lois Hayes of 
Brooklyn, N.Y., and Jannie T. Hayes of Norfolk; four brothers, William L. Hayes 
of Virginia Beach, James A. Hayes and Lloyd Hayes, both of New York City, and 
Calvin Hayes of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Saturday at Queen Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Peter 
Wherry with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at 2911 
Myrtle Ave. The family will receive friends at Graves Funeral Home today from 6 
to 8 p.m.
