Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, June 11, 1998 
Edith J. ``Doc'' Harris, 60, of the 1400 block of Dungee St., died June 9, 1998,
at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Harris; five daughters, Rita Hart, Valarie
Price, Rhonda Richardson, Monica Thomas and Paula Pigford; two sons, Vincent
Price and Alton Price; her mother, Esther E. Mitchell; a sister, Ann M. Olds;
two brothers, Leslie A. Mitchell and Eugene Mitchell; 13 grandchildren; and a
host of other relatives and sorrow-filled friends. She was predeceased by a son,
Keith Price.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Mt. Zion Church of God
Holiness, 1042 Philpotts Road, Norfolk. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at P.G.
Thomasson Funeral Services Inc. for visitation and remembrance.
