Virginian Pilot July 21, 1901

Mrs. Susan Harris, wife of Mr. George Harris, died yesterday afternoon at 4:25 
o'clock, at the home of her son, Mr. B.L. Perkins, in Cumberland Street. Mrs. 
Harris was 65 years of age.
The funeral services will take place from Cumberland Street M.E. Church at 5 
o'clock this afternoon.

                           MRS. SUSAN HARRIS

The funeral of this well known and esteemed lady, whose death has been noted in 
these columns, was held from the Cumberland Street Methodist Church Sunday 
afternoon at 5 o'clock and was largely attended. The services were conducted by 
Rev. J.W. Crider. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the 
pallbearers: Messrs. George W. Camp, Willard Brown, J.W. Beasley, C.F. Kegebein 
and Mr. Robinson.
