Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, August 21, 1999 
On Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999, our dear Lord called home one of his beloved children,
our son, father, uncle, cousin and dear friend, Linwood Harris Jr.

He was born in Norfolk on Jan. 17, 1953, to Mrs. Barbara Jean Turner and the
late William H. Johnson Jr. He attended Norfolk City Public Schools and later
entered the U.S. Coast Guard in 1972 and served until 1975.

To cherish his memory he leaves three sons, Linwood Harris III, Maurice Harris
of Newport News and Bryson Goffigan of Norfolk; two sisters, Angelia B. Harris
and Sharon Turner; one brother, Robert E. Turner, all of Norfolk; a stepsister,
Audrey McIntyre of Virginia Beach; six stepbrothers, Larry Johnson, Tracy
McIntyre, Marvin McIntyre, Darnell Johnson, all of Norfolk, Garrett Johnson of
Hampton, William Fuller of Chesapeake; an aunt, Mrs. Cecelia Spivey of Norfolk;
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a loving foster daughter,
Danyelle Melville of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday at Graves Funeral Home by the Rev.
Tony McNair. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family at
1401 Buck Road, Norfolk, where the family will assemble at 11 a.m. Monday for
the procession.
