Norfolk - Mrs. Mary C. Harrison of 1302 Cass St., wife of Gidwood Harrison, 
died March 29 in a hospital.

A native of Elizabeth City, NC, she was a member of Deaconness Board, Floral 
Club, Missionary Society, and Willing Workers of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 
Berkley.

She was also a member of Elizabeth Chapter of Order of Eastern Star and 
United Order of Tents.

Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Bowman of New York City, 
and Mrs. Margaret Roberts and Mrs. Dorothy Beaman of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held April 2 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Dr. John M. 
Alexander Jr. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Pretlows Funeral Home in 
charge.
