Mrs. Lillie Mercer Harrison, 78, of 823 Windsor avenue, who died March 29 in U. 
S. Naval hospital in Chelsea, MA, was given final rites Wednesday at First 
Baptist Church (Bute street).

The Rev. E. Paul simms officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under 
direction of Hale Funeral Home.

A retired midwife, Mrs. Harrison was a member of Phyllis Wheatley Circle and the 
Missionary Circle of First Baptist.  Her parents were the late Frank Mercer and 
Mrs. Mary Mercer.

Survivors are her husband, Luther B. Harrison, four daughters, Mrs. Carrie E. 
Love of Norfolk, Mrs. Della White of New York, Mrs. Thelma Perry and Mrs. 
Florence Scott of Roxbury, MA, four sons, Lawrence Harrison of Washington, 
George Harrison of New York and Jesse and Luther Harrison of Norfolk.
