Mrs. Delia Harrison, 51, of 1904 Tim road, who died in a local hospital Sept. 
15, was given final rites Tuesday at the House of Prayer in Burtons.

Elder Ernest Harris officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harrison, a native of Princess Anne County, was president of the House of 
Prayer choir, teacher of a Sunday school class, and a member of the United Order 
of Tents.

Daughter of Mrs. Jennie Willie and the late Thomas Willie, Mrs. Harrison was an 
employee of Harrell’s Grocery for 20 years.

Her survivors include her husband, Andrew Harrison, a daughter, Mrs. Jennie 
Elliott of Burton Station;  six brothers, Vender, Emuel, Nathaniel, Oliver, 
Elisha and Charlie Willie of Burton;  and three sisters, Mrs. Willie Mae Madison 
and Mrs. Lola Elliott of Norfolk and Mrs. Tommie Willie of Burton.
