Virginian Pilot and the Norfolk Landmark December 27, 1916

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Anne Taylor Harrison, widow of William Travis Harrison, 
will take place at Oliver's funeral apartments, 610-612 Freemason Street, this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Burial will be private in Elmwood.  Mrs. Harrison died 
early yesterday morning at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. B.L. Houtz, 
Willoughby Beach, after a lingering illness.  She was 91 years old, widely known 
and greatly esteemed.  Besides her granddaughter, she is survived by a grandson, 
William H. Harrison, of Clinton, Ill.  She was a member of Freemason Street 
Baptist Church.
