NORFOLK — Mrs. Mary Anne Harrison, 70, of 217 Beech Ave., Lynnhaven, died in a 
Norfolk hospital at 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
She was born in Norfolk, lived in Richmond a number of years, and returned to 
the Norfolk area 25 years ago.
She was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church and its Women's Benefit 
Association. She also belonged to the Women's Democratic Club of Princess Anne 
County and Kempsville Women's Club.
Mrs. Harrison was the daughter of Samuel and Littie McKown.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur M. Harrison, retired Norfolk Police Division 
Inspector; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Clark and Mrs. Ethel Elizabeth Moore of 
Richmond; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lee Fulcher of Norfolk; two stepsons, 
Milton Gates Harrison and Herbert Garret Harrison of Norfolk; 15 grandchildren 
and 11 great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.

NORFOLK — A funeral service for Mrs. Marry Anne Harrison will be conducted in 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Arnold B. Blount of 
Kempsville Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Harrison was a member. Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.
