NORFOLK - John H. Harrison Jr. of 776 C. Ave., a native of Norfolk and the husband
of Mrs. Lucy Harrison, died Sunday in his home.

He retired from Old Dominion Paper Co. after 35 years and was a deacon and member of
the Men's Bible Class of New Calvary Baptist Church. He was a former member of the
Male Crusaders Chorus and Sons of Norfolk.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Lattimore and Mrs. Ernestine
Riddick of Norfolk, and Mrs. Nettie Anderson of Portsmouth; three sons, John H.
Harrison III of Norfolk, Clyde W. Harrison of New York, and Milton Harrison of
Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Louise Thomas of Norfolk; 12 grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in New Calvary Baptist Church by Dr.
Milton A. Reid. There will be a wake service at the church tonight from 7 to 8. The
body will be place in the church Wednesday at 11 a.m. The family will be at his
home.
