Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, December 1, 1996 
Minister Dencil C. ``Sonnie Boy'' Harrison Jr. of the 600 block of W. 27th St.
died Nov. 27, 1996, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a member of Holiness Miracle Revival Center.

Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Harrison of Norfolk; five daughters,
Catherine H. Elcock, Cheryl Bynum, Mary M. Brown, LaRosa Harrison, Teresa D.
Harrison, all of Norfolk; son, Dencil C. Harrison III of Baumholder, Germany;
three sisters, Mary Uzzle, Vernice Winder and Lillie White, all of Norfolk;
brother, Leon Harrison of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren; and a host of other nieces,
nephews, relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Herald of His Coming, COGIC by
Elder Ronald Sewell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Carlos A. Howard
Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. The remains will be ready Tuesday at
3 p.m. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the
processional. The remains will be taken to the church at 10 a.m.
