Harrison, of 809 Croten road, died unexpectedly at 4:10 a.m. July 30 in a Norfolk hospital. Funeral services were held August 2 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter, officiating. He was assisted by the Revs. H. T. Myers, of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and W. H. Evans of Goodwill Baptist Church. A native of Princess Anne county, Mrs. Harrison lived in Norfolk more than 30 years. She was a member of the Royal Missionary Circle, Usher Board No. 1, the Order of Tents, the Tree of Life Lodge, and St. Mark’s Benevolent Society. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bertha W. Taylor; three sons, Ivey N. Williams Sr., Herbert H. Williams and Sgt. Ernest E. Harrison of Fort Meade, MD; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Owens; eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
