Norfolk - A. B. Harrison Jr., 47, of 2709 Myrtle Ave., the husband of Mrs.
Jessie Mae Harrison, died Tuesday in a hospital.

A native of Richland, NC, he worked for Norfolk Transfer and Hauling Co.  He was
a Baptist.

Besides his widow, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marion Jean Jones of
Alexandria;  a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sallye Anne Clark of New York;  three sons,
Michael Harrison and Jeffrey Harrison of California, and Clark Harrison of New
York;  five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn H. Young, Mrs. Annie Wilkins, and Mrs. Deloris
Paige of Norfolk, Mrs. Carrie Mae Brown of Richland, and Mrs. Thelma Walls of
Youngstown, Ohio;  and four brothers, Herbert Harrison of Norfolk, William
Harrison of Richland, and James M. Harrison and Walter E. Harrison of Youngstown.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Jerusalem Baptist Church
by the Rev. T. M. Venable.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Twilight
Funeral Home in charge.  The family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 7
to 9 p.m. and will assemble at his home at noon Sunday.
