Harrison, widow of the late John Harrison, died at the home of her son-in-law, Leonard Knapp, Fortieth Street near Elkhorn Street, at noon yesterday, after a lingering illness, in the eighty-fifth year of her age. The deceased was one of the oldest members of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.W. King and Mrs. Leonard Knapp. The funeral will be held from the residence of her son-in-law at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Sparks W. Melton. ******************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Mary E. Harrison was held from the residence of her son-in- law, Leonard Knapp, Fortieth Street, at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., of the Freemason Street Baptist Church and Rev. George W. Cox, of Burrows Memorial Baptist Church. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. The interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: K. Bell, John Hudgins, Richard Morris and E.E. Pugh.
