Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - March 20, 2007 
NORFOLK - Burton "Burt" Harris Sr., 84, passed away March 15, 2007, in his home.
Mr. Harris was retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He is survived by his
beloved wife of 57 years, Dorothy E. Harris; a daughter, Larita D. Harris; a
granddaughter, Monique C. McIntyre; two sisters, Lillian H. Lacey and husband
John Lacey and Bertha H. Heard. He was predeceased by a son, Burton (Pluddy)
Harris Jr.

A funeral will be held at noon Wednesday in First Baptist Church of Lamberts
Point. Family and friends may assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the
procession to the church. Hale Funeral Home is in charge. www.halefuneralhome.com.
