Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 11, 1932

Mrs. Sarah Frances Harrity, aged 76, wife of Michael Harrity and daughter of the 
late William and Elizabeth Johnson Taliferro, died at a local hospital yesterday 
morning at 9:10 o'clock. Mrs. Harrity was a native of Portsmouth and a resident 
of Norfolk for the past 65 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by five 
grandchildren, Mrs. William H. Fantone, Mrs. James E. Prince, Mrs. Edward Lewis, 
James Barker and Charles Toliver. The body will be taken from the residence, 
2004 Hampton Boulevard, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services 
tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

o’clock a.m., SARAH FRANCES, wife of Michael Harrity, and daughter of the late 
William and Elizabeth Johnson Taliaferro, in the 77th year of her age. Remains 
will be taken from the residence, 2004 Hampton Boulevard, to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services, TUESDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
