Virginian Pilot August 10, 1959

James Patrick Hart, 82, husband of Mrs. Abigail Jeffers Hart and son of James 
and Alicia Hart died Sunday at 2:25 at a local hospital.
A native of Belfast, Ireland, he had lived in Norfolk 58 years, residing at 835 
W. 42nd St. at the time of his death. 
He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a life member of 
Elks Lodge No. 38.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Miss Alicia D. Hart; two sons, 
James D. Hart and William E. Hart and a sister, Mrs. R.W. Robertson, all of 
Norfolk; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for services Tuesday at 11 a.m. Rosary services at the 
funeral apartments today at 8:30 p.m. The family requests that flowers be 
omitted.

and Mrs. Alicia Dixon Hart, in the 83rd year of his age.  Remains will be taken 
from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for services this morning at 11 o'clock.  Friends of 
the family are invited to attend.  Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.  Kindly omit 
flowers.
