Virginian-Pilot May 23, 1968
VIRGINIA BEACH - Francis Joseph (Pop) Hart Jr., 67, for many years owner and 
operator of "Pop's" Cafeteria on 15th Street across from Maury High School in 
Norfolk, died in a Swansboro, N.C., hospital Monday.
He was a son of Francis J. Hart Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Ormond Petherbridge Hart.
A native of Norfolk, he lived here until 1965, when he retired and moved to 
Swansboro.
He was a member of St. Mildred's Catholic Church, Swansboro, and Charity Pythian 
Lodge 10, Norfolk.
He is survived by a son, Francis J. Hart III of Virginia Beach, and two 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Norfolk, 
Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at the 
funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 9.
