NORFOLK - Beulah Arney "Billie" Hart, 87, of the 1300 block of Laurel Crescent, 
died Nov. 8, 2007. Mrs. Hart was born in Burke County, North Carolina, the 
daughter of the late Edgar C. Arney and Annie Lowman Arney. She retired from 
Norfolk Naval Air Station as an aircraft instrument mechanic in building LF-18.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. "J.J." Hart. Survivors include 
her daughter, Sharon Denise Hart and James C. Flowers of Norfolk; a son, James 
"Pat" Hart and his wife Gayle of Virginia Beach; one granddaughter, Sara Mollye 
Hart: two sisters, Catherine Cline and Mae Rhoney, both of Hickory, N.C.; a 
brother, Wayne Arney of Hickory; and a sister-in-law, Grace Hart of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery in Norfolk by Father Joseph Metzger III. The family will receive friends 
in the funeral home Saturday from 2 until 4 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk.

H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
