Norfolk - Grace Chick Hart, 93, passed away September 30, 2017. She was a life 
long resident of Norfolk, Virginia and the daughter of the late Frederick B. Chick 
and Sallie West Brown Chick.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, on Newport Avenue, Norfolk, Va. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Hart, also of Norfolk, Virginia, 
her sister, Maxine Chick Burton and her nieces, Sarah Burton Skogland and Sally 
Brown Burns. She is survived by her nephew, Dave Brown, his wife, Pat, and their 
sons, Thomas and Andy of Northern Virginia. Surviving also are: niece, Sharon D. 
Hart, nephew, James P. Hart and his daughter, Sara Mollye Hart, great-niece, Leyna 
Skogland Crocker, her husband, Josh and daughter, Emily, and son, Noah, also of 
Norfolk. "Aunt Gracie" will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

The visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm 2:00 pm on 
Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Norfolk Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., 
1501 Colonial Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia, with a private burial to follow at St. 
Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Blessed 
Sacrament Church Building Fund, 6400 Newport Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23505.
