Funeral services for Nathan Hart, 63, of 614 E. Bute street, were held recently
at Hale Funeral Home, with Elder H. A. Jones officiating.  Burial was in Calvary
Cemetery.  Mr. Hart died at the Veteran’s Hospital, Hampton VA, after a
lingering illness.

A native of Tarboro NC, Mr. Hart had lived in Norfolk for a number of years.  He
is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Walton, Mrs. Julia Hart Selby, both of
Tarboro; two sons, James and William Hart, both of Wilson, NC;  a daughter, Mrs.
Katherine Vines, Fountain NC.
