NORFOLK - Mrs. Gene Nickelson Hartline, wife of James Allen Hartline, died 
Thursday at 6:30 a.m. at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Portsmouth. She was a native of 
Richwood, W.Va., and had been a resident of Norfolk for 17 years, residing at 3912 
Larkin St., Estabrook, at the time of her death.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Linda Marie Hartline, 
and one son, Bryant Allen Hartline, all of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Chambers, 
of Alabama City, Ala., and a brother, Ray Nickelson, of Fort Bragg, N.C.
The body will be taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
