The Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 6, 1937

Frank Henry Hartmann, aged 76, husband of Mrs. Elizabeth F. Hartmann, died at 
his residence on Broad Creek, Princess Anne County, yesterday morning at 3:40 
o’clock. Mr. Hartmann was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Princess 
Anne County for the past 50 years. Survivors include his wife and daughter
Mrs. W.T. Fleming; four sons, Louis Hartmann, of Burlington, N.C., Frank F. Hartmann, of 
Norfolk; Roman J.Hartmann, of New York City, and Henry C. Hartmann, of 
Williamsburg; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Edward Heath, of St. 
Petersburg, Fla., and a nephew, Milton D. Mayerson, of Silver Springs, Md.

Services will be held at H.D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 510-12 East 
Freemason Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. George P. 
Gunn rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook, officiating.  
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery
