NORFOLK, VA. September 28, 1883.
SPECIAL NOTICE The members of FRIENDSHIP COUNCIL No. 4, Order of Chosen Friends, 
will meet in Santos' Hall THIS MORNING at 9 o'clock, for the purpose of paying the 
last sad tribute of respect to our deceased Brother, S. W. HARTWELL. The funeral 
will take place at 10 a.m. from his late residence in Brambleton, near Campostella 
Bridge.
