April 9, 1983 Mrs. Ann Madden Harvey, 64, wife of John Norman Harvey, of 3152 Woodson Circle, West Columbia, died yesterday at Manor Care of Lexington. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Alice Olive Anderson Madden. She was formerly of Laurel, Md., and a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. Mrs. Harvey was a graduate of Old Dominion University and received her master’s degree in special education at Pittsburgh University. She was former executive director of the Tidewater Association for Retarded Children and the S E A V A M P Agency. She also was a former member of the board of directors of the Division of State Planning for the state of Virginia. Surviving are her husband; a son, Paul Francis Harvey, of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Susan McHugh, of Newport News, Va.; a brother, Bernard E. Madden, of Monroeville, Pa.; a sister, Miss Alice Marie Madden, of Pittsburgh; and grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk, Va. Final commendation and farewell prayers will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Norfolk. H. D.
