The Virginian Pilot Tuesday December 31, 1963 
NORFOLK - Mrs. Blanche Bonney Harwell, 89, of 114 Pennsylvania Ave., widow of 
Alexander Lawrence Harwell and daughter of John Milton and Mrs. Miriam Dyer 
Bonney, died in a hospital Sunday.
A native of Princess Anne County, she lived in Norfolk most of her life. She 
was a member of Park Place Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Louise Harwell, and a son, Alvin L. 
Harwell, both of Norfolk; a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery 
for a funeral service today at 3:30 p.m. to be conducted by the Rev. H.H. Fink 
of Park Place Methodist Chruch.
