Virginian-Pilot November 13, 1987
NORFOLK — Eva Louise Harwell, 86, of the 500 block of Rhode Island Ave., a 
retired teacher, died Nov. 12, 1987.
Mrs. Harwell, a native of Norfolk, was a member of Park Place United Methodist 
Church and its Laura Fenn Bible Class. She was a member of the United Methodist 
Church Women's Club. She had retired from the Norfolk public schools after 40 
years.
Survivors include a son, Alvin L. Harwell of Norfolk.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery 
by the Rev. Milford Rollins.
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
The family will be at the residence.

Additional Comments:
Alvin was her brother. She was not married.
