Norfolk - Mrs. Mary Haskett of 1026 Galt street died Aug. 20 in a hospital.

A native of Suffolk, she was the widow of Joshua Haskett and the daughter of the 
Rev. Rufus P. Goode and Mrs. Lila Saunders Goode.

She was a member of the Greater Metropolitan AMEZ Church.

She is survived by a son, Joshua T. Haskett Jr. of Norfolk;  two daughters, Mrs. 
Helen McIntyre and Mrs. Mary Summers of Norfolk;  a brother, Neal Goode of New 
York City;  nine grandchildren;  and great-grandchildren. (number of great-
grandchildren illegible).

Funeral services were held in the Greater Metropolitan AMEZ Church by the Rev. 
Benjamin S. Salter.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Graves Funeral Home had 
charge.
