New York - Miss Martha Haskins of 557 W. 149th St., former resident and a 
native of Durham, NC, died Tuesday, Aug. 16.

She was a former employee of Sunlight Laundry in Norfolk and a member of 
Union Baptist Church, New York.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Haskins of New York;  three 
nephews;  and three nieces.

Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, had charge.  A funeral was held Monday, August 
22 in the family plot of Calvary Cemetery by the Rev. Roy L. Elder.
