Norfolk Journal and Guide, Aug 18,1962

Funeral services were held Thursday for Lorenzo Nathaniel Haskins, 16, of 1734 
Berkley, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  The Rev. R. T. Adams officiated at the 
ceremony.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with E. A. Hughes Funeral Home in 
charge.

Mr. Haskins was a 10th grade student at Booker T. Washington High School.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Clara Haskins;  two brothers, William T. 
Haskins of Norfolk and James E. Haskins of U. S. Navy;  three sisters, Mrs. Mary 
Lewis, Mrs. Dorothy Matthews,and Miss Ruth L. Haskins, all of Norfolk.
