Norfolk - Mrs. Clara B. Haskins, 56, of 1784 Berkley avenue, who died Aug. 7 in 
a hospital, was given final rites Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, of which 
she was a member.

The Rev. R. T. Adams officiated at the service.  Burial was in Mt. Olive 
Cemetery with Hughes Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Haskins, a native of James City County, is survived by her mother, Mrs. 
Mary Warren;  two sons, William T. Haskins of Chesapeake and James E. Haskins of 
Milwaukee;  three daughters, Miss Ruth Haskins, Mrs. Mary Lewis and Mrs. Dorothy 
Matthews of Norfolk;  a brother, Ed Warren, also of Norfolk;  two sisters, Mrs. 
Lucy Dowdell of Kingston, NY, and Mrs. Alice PIttman of Norfolk;  and 19 
grandchildren.
