Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday June 6, 1940
Miss Rosa Evelyn Hatchell, 26, of Butts Station, Norfolk County, died yesterday 
morning at 2:35 o'clock after an illness of two months.  She was a native of 
Berkley and had made her home at Butts Station for the past few months.  She was a 
daughter of the late Rodie and Josephine Brothers Hatchell and is survived by one 
sister, Miss Carrie Josephine Hatchell, of Chicago.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, 
South Norfolk.  Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
