NORFOLK - Final rites will be conducted for Mrs. Beulah Jeanette Hatchett, 43,
of 3187 Pioneer avenue, Sunday at 2 p.m. in Union Chapel AME Church by the Rev.
Cornelious Fauntleroy.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral
Home in charge.

A Norfolk native, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Jones Sr. and Mrs.
Emma Lenora Jones and the wife of Ulysses Theodore Hatchett.  She died May 18 in
a local hospital.

Mrs. Hatchett was secretary of Union Chapel AME Church and also was a member of
the senior choir.

Other than her husband, she is survived by a brother, James Edward Jones Jr.;
six sisters, Mrs. Cleo Hines, Mrs. Lucille Hollowell, Mrs. Clarestine Copeland,
Mrs. Deloris Spates and Miss Denise Jones, all of Norfolk and Mrs. Velma Martin.
