Abraham M. Hatem, 74, husband of Mrs. Rougeena S. Hatem and son of the late Milhem 
A. and Mrs. Martha Daw Hatem, died Wednesday at 1:30 a.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
A retired building contractor, he was a native of Hammana, Lebanon, and had been a 
resident of Norfolk for a number of years, residing at 1315 Colonial Avenue at the 
time of his death.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Rougeena S. Hatem, he is survived by one brother, Joseph M. 
Hatem, of Norfolk, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held at the Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8 
o’clock.
