Virginian-Pilot  December 10, 1959
NORFOLK - Joseph Milhem Hatem, 77, son of Milhem A. and Mrs. Martha Daw Hatem, 
died Wednesday at 3:05 a.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Hatem was a native of Lebanon and had been a resident of Norfolk for 19 years, 
lately at 1315 Colonial Ave.
Surviving are a niece, Miss Esther Courry of Norfolk; and five nephews, A. K. 
Hatem and James Hatem, both of New York, Phillip Hatem of Lebanon, and Michele 
Hatem and Naime Hatem, both of Boston, Mass.
A Rosary service will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 7:30 
p.m.
A funeral service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Friday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
