Elks at 10 a.m., and were conducted by Rev. Robert S. Copeland, assistant rector of St. Luke’s P. E. Church. A number of ladies, friends of the members of the lodge, were present and sang “Nearer, My God, to Thee,” and “Asleep in Jesus”. The floral offerings were beautiful. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. The pall-bearers were M. Ryan, Otto Sandmon, Fred Hyatt, Wm. Diem, Robert Fletcher, J. Lloyd Gordon, Jacob Shafer and George Lyons.
