R. HATHAWAY, JR. Mr. J.R. Hathaway, a well-known young man, died in Berkley yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock of consumption. The deceased was a printer by trade and a member of New York Typographical Union No. 6 in which city he had been located for eight years. He returned to Berkley about six months ago. He was a son of the late J.R. Hathaway. His funeral will take place from Armstrong Memorial Church this afternoon at 4 o'clock, a delegation from Norfolk Typographical Union attending. ******************************************************************** The funeral of Mr. John R. Hathaway, Jr., took place yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. W.A. Slaymaker. Interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery.
