Virginian-Pilot September 30, 1898
Mr. Michael J. Hatton, a well-known citizen, died at his home, No. 38 Virginia 
street, yesterday morning at 7:30 o’clock, aged 53 years. The funeral will take 
place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock. Requiem mass 
will be said.
