Florence Ashmore Hatton, 102, of the 3400 block of Vivian St., a seamstress, died 
April 21, 1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Hatton, a native of Carlton, Ga., was formerly employed with Finkelstein's. 
She was the widow of John F. Hatton and was a member of Christ the King Catholic 
Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Hatton, Katherine Martin and Rosalee 
Jefferson, all of Norfolk, and Dorothy Taylor of Arvada, Colo.; 20 grandchildren, 
47 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christ the 
King Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph P. Lehman. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be at 8 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk.
