Swift Gregory, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 8:30 p.m. She was a life-long resident of Norfolk, residing at 111 E. 26th St. at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the sodality of that church, and the Daughters of Isabella. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, James L. Hatton, deputy chief training officer of the Norfolk Fire Division; one granddaughter, Miss Patricia Gayle Hatton, of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Opal Fischer; and two brothers, J. W. Gregory, retired captain of the Norfolk Fire Division, and Vernon L. Gregory, retired engineer of the division. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
