Mrs. Mary Tynan Hatton, 73, widow of John F. Hatton, and daughter of the late 
Keryan and Mrs. Nora Tynan, a native of Queens County, Ireland, and a resident of 
Norfolk for the past 60 years, died at 4:40 o’clock yesterday morning at the 
residence, 1403 Brambleton avenue. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Katherine 
Hatton; two sons, John F. and James J. Hatton, all of Norfolk; five grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments 
tonight at 7:30 o’clock.
