Virginian Pilot September 17, 1908

The remains of the late John Hawkins, a former resident of Berkley, and 
connected with the Norfolk and Southern railroad many years, who died in 
Richmond, arrived here yesterday morning and were laid to rest in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
The funeral services were conducted in Richmond.
