Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, June 4, 2002 
Richard H. Hawkins NORFOLK - Richard H. Hawkins , 71, of the 500 block of W.
27th St., died May 31, 2002.

He retired as a postal carrier from the U.S. Postal Service and was a U.S. Army
veteran.

Survivors include two nieces, Leola J. Brown of Portsmouth and Early M. Clemons
of Washington, D.C.; and a lifetime friend, Richard W. Griffin.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Community Funeral Home,
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Richard Griffin.
