Norfolk - Mrs. Dorothy E. Hawkins, of 905 Wood street, received final rites Sunday 
in Pretlow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John T. Allen officiating. Burial was in 
Mt. Olive Cemetery.

A native of Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Willie Reid and Mrs. Mollie 
McCoy Reid and wife of Emmitt Hawkins. She died July 27 in a hospital after a 
short illness. She lived in Norfolk for 20 years.

Mrs. Hawkins worked at Ballard Fish and Oyster company for several years.
