Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 20, 1990 
Irene L. Hawks, of the 5100 block of Dandy Court, died Sept. 18, 1990, in a
hospital.

Mrs. Hawks, a native of Edenton, N.C., was the widow of Richard Hawks. She was a
member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roland Brothers and Benjamin Brothers Sr., both of
Norfolk; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Morning Star Baptist Church
by the Rev. C.H. Williams. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at noon at 5116 Dandy Court for the procession.
Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
