The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Sunday February 8, 1931
Mrs. Ida Hayes, aged 73, died yesterday afternoon at 12:40 o'clock at a local 
hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Simpson, 
and a lifelong resident of this city.  The body will be taken from the Gregory 
Funeral Home to the grave in Elmwood Cemetery this afternoon at 2 o'clock, 
where funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. W.E. Callender.
