Mrs. Mattie Hayes, 67, of 738 Pulaski street, who died in a local hospital Nov. 
24, was given final rites Friday at Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayes was a native of Waverly.  She was a member of First Calvary Baptist 
Church.  Survivors include her husband, Paul Hayes;  son, William Bailey of 
Norfolk;  and a sister, Mrs. Gussie Pretlow.
