NORFOLK - Josephine B. Hayes, 61, of the 3900 block of Bowden Ferry Road, passed
quietly in Tandem Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Minnie Boyce and
Joe Hoggard of North Carolina and the widow of Willie Hayes. She was a member of
Goodwill Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Caroline Golson of Florida and
Willet Golson of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Goodwill Baptist Church by the
Rev. William Dixon. Viewing will be held today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick
Funeral Service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
