Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Monday October 5, 1925
William H. Haynes, aged 74, died yesterday morning at 8:40 o'clock.  He was a 
native of Norfolk County and was a former well known resident of this city, 
being the son of the late William H. and Mary Keeling Haynes.  Surviving him 
are his wife, Mrs. Margaret E. Haynes; two sisters, Miss Fannie W. Haynes and 
Mrs. E.J. Brickhouse, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery, tomorrow 
afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. E.P. Miner, of St. Luke's Church, and the 
Rev. S.W. Melton, D.D., of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.
